Now, it's time to introduce you to the incredible individuals who make up our diverse and passionate panel. Let's meet the first five members of this remarkable panel. 


Who is Amina Yonis?

Amina is the founder of The Page Doctor, an EdTech startup connecting PhD researchers with university students seeking academic support. She's also known for her YouTube channel, where she helps students unlock their full potential. Her current focus involves scaling her business and seeking seed funding. 

What Amina enjoys about the review panel work

Amina relishes the opportunity to analyze course objectives and add detail to ensure students can fully comprehend the topics at hand.

Amina is excited about expanding and developing the courses, from concept to delivery, and getting to know the rest of the research panel. 


Who is Anita Coleman?

Anita is a researcher, writer of Infophilia, director of the Anti-racism Digital Library, and an adjunct faculty at her PhD alma mater, the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Beyond her academic role, she enjoys gardening as her main focus.

Anita finds satisfaction in integrating equity and inclusion into research with vulnerability and kindness.

She looks forward to participating in curriculum development and storyboards, anticipating the entire adventure ahead. 


Who is Carol Rivas?

Carol is a Professor of Health and Social Care at University College London and an often-times Sage contributor. Her research specializes in equity and inclusivity, particularly focusing on non-apparent disabilities and recent migrants, inspired by relevant family experiences.

Carol appreciates contributing practical aspects of her recent research projects and feels that she is making a meaningful contribution to the future.

Who is Jinxuan (Jenny) Ma?

Jenny is an Associate Professor in the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University in Kansas. Her research agenda primarily focuses on health information diffusion within dynamic information contexts and professional practice. She's also an alumna of SUNY Buffalo and Florida State University. 

What Jenny enjoys about the review panel work

Jenny finds great satisfaction in achieving synergy when collaborating with fellow reviewers from diverse backgrounds with varied skill sets. This synergy elevates their thinking and actions to new heights.

Who is JJ Pionke?

JJ is the Applied Health Sciences Librarian at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a research focus on disability and accessibility in libraries.
